A Coastal Carolina University fraternity has been suspended and one of the school's sororities had its social activities revoked until the end of the semester after an investigation showed students abused alcohol during an off- campus bid party in Conway, officials said.
A CCU panel investigated the incident, which occurred Jan. 28 during a party at the Peanut Warehouse in Conway, that led to two male students, ages 18 and 21, being taken separately to a local hospital for symptoms of alcohol poisoning.
